Sound also has form - Thirumoolar

From the sound of 'Om' only this world has been formed says Thirumoolar.
ஓங்காரத் துள்ளே உதித்த ஐம் பூதங்கள்
oangaarath thullae uthiththa aim poothangal
ஓங்காரத் துள்ளே உதித்த சராசரம்
oangaarath thullae uthiththa saraasaram
ஓங்காரத் தீதத்து உயிர் மூன்றும் உற்றன
oangaaraath theethiththu uyir moonrum utrana
ஓங்கார சீவ பரசிவ ரூபமே!
oangaara seeva parasiva roobamae!"
The one that has been formed out of Pranavam, a mantra of the Hindus is the panjaboothams. The changes that has occured in them as a result has lead to the formation of the living things and non-living things.
This world is the form of the sound, it is told by many of them who have got the knowledge. They also say that the world is the reflection of many sounds.
A massive form of light has filled up this world. Light is filled up in the world, there is sound everywhere in the world. But only few lights we can see with our eyes and only few sounds our ears can hear.
But the Siththars says that even sound has form and they also can be seen. Are you thinking about how can we see the sound?
Mantras are the form of sounds. There are so many Siththars who has seen these mantras. Hence they say that we can see the sounds with our eyes.
We are talking about the acts that reflect our desires. Where was this tone/ sound before we open our mouth and talk? It was a thought in our mind. How it was before that?
Those thoughts were in our minds in the form of an subtility sounds, only after this it comes out of our mouth. There are four kinds of this sounds. They are,
1. Vaikari - Sounds of the ears.
2. Maththimai - Sound of the opinion
3. Paisanthi - Sound of the memory
4. Parai - Sound of the minute things.
Every thought of ours changes into word, a form of sound  before this it has been as a subtility sound. This subtility sound is said as Om by the Siththars.
Hence the Om is the origin of all the mantras and the sounds says SIththars. We shall see this in depth in some other post.
